Thanks to the concrete help of the Bazar International in Luxembourg, in 2019 a project presented through the Italian Stand the previous year was realized in Madagascar.

The Madagascar Project, among the 70 projects selected by the specific Commission (of more than 200 submitted), financed for a total of Eur 600,000, received a specific contribution of Eur 22,000.

The Madagascar Project has made it possible to dig two wells for drinking water to be taken to a mission of the Carmelite Fathers in Morondava to benefit more than 600 students who are educated at the Mission.

In addition to the water wells, solar panels have been installed on the roofs of the Mission which have made it possible to improve the electrical system of the complex with a significant improvement in the quality of life and working conditions of students and teachers. The electricity produced made it possible to replace the old diesel generators, polluting and particularly expensive given the price of diesel on site.
